1. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:16-17)

2. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His shed blood, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father as the believers' High Priest and Advocate, and His personal, imminent, premileenial, pre-tribulational return. (John 1:1; Luke 1:20-35; 2 Corinthians 6:21; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3-6; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 John 2:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

The gospel

1. We believe man was created in the image of God, after His likeness, as stated in the Word of God, but that the whole human race fell in the fall of the first Adam.  Therefore, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature and the total depravity of the natural man, we believe the absolute necessity of spiritual regeneration by the Spirit of God. (Jeremiah 17:9; John 3:3; Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 8:7-8; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 1:13, 21)

2. We believe that all the redeemed, truly saved are kept by God's power, and that it is the privilege of the believer to rejoice in this assurance of his eternal salvation through the testimony of the Word of God which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion for the flesh. (John 6:37-40; John 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8; 1 Peter 1:5; Romans 13:13-14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11-15

3. We believe that there is a resurrection and judgement of both saved and lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto resurrection of eternal damnation. (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 24:48; John 5:28; John 11: 25-26; Revelation 20:5-6, 12-13)

the bible

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God, and a complete revelation of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

the church

1. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

2. We believe in the baptism of believers by immersion, and the memorial ordinance of the Lord's Supper.

The Christian Life

1. We believe that every saved person possesses two natures with provision made for victory of the new nature over the old nature through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit and that all claims to the eradication of the old nature in this life are unscriptural. (Romans 8:13; Galatians 5:16-25; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 3:10; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 3:5-9)

2. We believe that all who are saved are called unto a spirit-filled life, separated from all worldly and sinful practices. (1 John 2:15-17)

3. We believe it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and word to the truths of Holy Scripture, and to seek to proclaim the gospel to all mankind. (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:19-20)

Human Sexuality

1. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage, and that Scriptural marriage is between one man and one woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex. We believe that God dissapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one's gender by surgery or appearance. Unrepentant persistence in any of the above listed sins precludes any membership or continued membership in this local church, but may regain membership if one repents from any of the sexual sins above. We believe God will accept anyone who has forsaken these practices, through repentance and restoration, as with any other sin.

(Gen. 2:24; 19:5, 13; 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4)

2. We believe that the only scriptural marriage is the joining of one man and one woman.

(Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23)
